µFLow
Calculators for Gaseous Media
Mass flow measurement in gaseous media
is made in most cases in form of a calculation of the "standard
volume flow". There the state of the medium is set
in relation to the regular standard conditions of the respective
country. In Central Europe a temperature of 0°C and
an absolute pressure of 101.325 kPa are the valid reference
values for standardization of state variables of the gas.
This is the core function of µFLOW
GS micro computer. Based on the measurement results of the
absolute pressure pA and the temperature T as
well as the implemented statement for the standard density
rN of the respective
gas the µFLOW calculates the standard volume flow
and processes it as desired.
The hereby adjustable calculation procedures
are the ideal gas law as well as the relevant international
standardized procedure for the computing of natural gases.
